How To Get Rid of Rats?

Ugly RatRats are so clever and unpoisonable that it's too difficult to get rid of them once they've come around.

Could anybody suggest a creative solution to the rats problem?

According to the 16th century story, the Pied Piper, a rat-catcher hired by the town of Hameln to lure rats away with his magic pipe. So, you can do the same.

But do pay him for the service, do repeat the disastrous mistake the town of Hameln made. When the citizenry refused to pay for this service, the Pied Piper retaliated by turning his magic on their children, leading them away as he had had the rats.
