15 public toilets in Dhaka have been named after leading figures who opposed Bangladesh's independence and collaborated with Pakistan army during the 1971 war.
Bangladesh became independent after a 9-month war against Pakistan forces and Bengali-speaking collaborators. The post independance government granted a general amnesty to the collaborators, but war veterans and relatives of those killed have demanded their trial on war crimes.
